Big Shifts
I’ve been going through some big shifts and noticing that it’s an ongoing process. Several of my healer friends are sharing that they are also experiencing the energetic changes in consciousness that are occurring on our planet. For some, this can be a feeling of loss or separation. For others it may be just needing to be solitary. For all of you who are experiencing any or all of these feelings, maybe the best thing you can do is just honor and recognize that this is a part of your journey to awakening. Sometimes it can be a little challenging when we go through these processes. It gets a lot easier if we can just accept whatever is arising within us and know that this pain, sorrow or whatever is coming up and out of us will soon pass.
What should I do?
I’ve been encountering many people who are feeling confused and asking for clarity about big decisions that they need to make in their lives. Some of my friends and clients are going through relationship challenges or are feeling overwhelmed by their jobs and family responsibilities; they don’t know what choice to make to have more peace of mind and be truly happy in their lives. Other people are seeking to discover what they need to do to align with their soul purpose.
Clarity Exercise
I have a wonderful clarity exercise that I’d like to share with you that may be helpful. I originally learned about this tool through some of the trainings that I’ve done with Access Consciousness, although I have to say I’m not doing any trainings with them anymore. Even so, I feel that many of the Access Consciousness tools are still great and I still continue to use them in my practice which is moving in a different direction.
This tool goes like this: Think about something you know that you’re wanting to make a decision about and tune into the first possibility. Let’s say the choice is about whether I stay in this relationship or whether I go? Close your eyes put your hand on your physical heart and take a nice deep breath allowing yourself to get centered. Take another deep breath and drop into you, coming home to you. Now tune into the choice by saying: “if I choose to stay with my partner/husband/lover, what will my life be like one year from now. Get the energy of that; it’s not a rational answer but rather an energetic one. Notice what’s happening in your body. If I choose to stay with this person what will my life be like three years from now? Really feel into this question. Notice if you’re feeling lighter or heavier. Is your throat constricting? Are you feeling like you almost have a headache coming on? what do you notice? Now the next question: ‘if I choose to stay with this partner what will my life be like 5 years from now? Again get the energetic answer to that question. Notice what’s happening in your body. Is it getting lighter or heavier? Are you feeling really tired or energized? Note whatever you experienced during that exercise.
Now we’re going to swing to the second option so close your eyes once again and ask the question: “if I don’t choose to stay with this partner what will my life be like one year from now? Get the energetic answer. Once again notice what’s happening in your mind and body. What emotions are arising? Pay attention to the differences between the first set of questions and these questions. Now ask the next question: ‘If I don’t choose to stay with this partner what will my life be like three years from now?” Get the energetic answer. What’s happening? What are you feeling. Finally ask, “if I don’t choose to stay with this partner, what will my life be like five years from now?” Notice what’s happening again. That’s your energetic answer. Okay so now open your eyes and just reflect on your experience. What information did you get? What clarity did you get? I call this the ‘Clarity Exercise’. What do you know now that you didn’t know before?
Different Ways of Perceiving
Some of you who are not very kinesthetic may not have felt much by way of sensations such as energy moving through your body. Instead, you may have experienced a ‘knowingness’ or saw a movie running through your mind. Others may have experienced visual sensations such as colors moving in and out or strange shapes. For those of you who are empathic (in tune with feelings) you may have felt sadness, anger or other emotions arising when you imagined yourself with that person one year from now. On the opposite end, you may have felt sad or lonely when you imagined yourself without your partner. We all experience our ‘knowingness’ or psychic abilities in different ways. Just know that however you experience your information is totally right for you; it’s okay if you didn’t get any vibrations or sensations in your body as I do. I’m more of an empath and so that’s how I experience things. I also perceive through clairacognizance which is ‘knowingness’.
